Keep what you love. Lighten the rest.
Golden Blooms helps you thoughtfully declutter, downsize, sell your items, and settle into your next chapter — on your terms, in your time. Whether you're shaping your own fresh start or helping a parent do it with dignity, we make home feel light again. And we make sure the sorting doesn’t land on your children's shoulders someday.

Every home tells a story. We start by listening to yours.
Here for you through all of it.
Our homes should feel calm, comfortable, and beautifully functional. But sometimes a lifetime of living accumulates faster than we sort it, and the burden of it feels overwhelming.
Maybe you're staying right where you are, and you want more room for the life you're living now, not the boxes from the one before.
Maybe you've decided it's time for a new chapter: a smaller place, a simpler rhythm, a fresh start you get to design.
Maybe you're helping a parent through a move, from three states away, with a full-time job and a knot in your stomach.
Or maybe you've simply decided that sorting a lifetime of belongings is a gift you'd rather give your family now — done your way, with your stories attached — than leave for them later.
Wherever you're starting, we'll meet you there, guiding the process with care, honoring what matters, and helping you create a home that feels calmer, lighter, and truly yours.

How we can help
Thoughtful support for every kind of next chapter, whether you're staying, moving, or simply making room. Click a service to learn more.
For the home you're staying in. Calmer, more functional spaces with systems that are easy to maintain so your house keeps working beautifully for the way you live now.
From first sort to fully settled, we plan and manage the whole transition — decluttering, packing, movers, and a new home set up to easily move into life’s next chapter.
Inspired by the Swedish tradition of döstädning ("death cleaning”), it’s the practice of slowly decluttering and organizing your home so that your loved ones aren’t burdened with your possessions after you pass away. It’s a gift to yourself now to create more space for living, and a gift to your family later.
How it works:
Listen: It starts with a free, no-pressure consultation in your home or by video. We learn your space, your timeline, and your story, and you learn whether we're the right fit. (Book here)
Plan: Organizing, decluttering, or moving is a deeply personal process, and we take into account the whole person - your personality, lifestyle, routines, and values - to create an approach that works for you.
Edit: If needed, we’ll go through the items in your space to determine what should be kept, gifted, donated, or released. You make the final decision on everything.
Settle In: We organize or set up your new home in a way that works with your routines, makes things easy to find, and gives you that feeling of calm when you walk in the door.
Meet the Team
Hi, I’m Kelsey, the founder of Golden Blooms. After 12 years building systems as a software engineer, I found a new sense of purpose in helping people through the deeply personal work of decluttering, organizing, and home transitions. It began with helping my grandmother into assisted living. Today, I bring calm, practical support to organizing, unpacking, and downsizing, helping clients let go of what keeps them from living and create homes that feel lighter, more functional, and easier to live in.
“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
— William Morris
