About Kelsey

Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Kelsey. I live in Golden with my husband and our two dogs, and I’ve always been drawn to the way systems shape our daily lives.

For more than a decade, I worked as a software engineer, building thoughtful systems for startups in youth sports and reverse logistics and learning how to make complex things feel simpler, clearer, and easier to use. Before that, I worked at the International Monetary Fund, where I first taught myself to program so I could streamline repetitive work.

That same curiosity has always shaped the way I think about homes. I love noticing how a space makes us feel, where it creates friction, and how small changes can make everyday life calmer, lighter, and more functional. I also grew up around home renovation projects, helping my dad and learning many tricks of the trade along the way. In 2017, I began renovating my first home over nights and weekends, and more recently, my husband and I completed a DIY renovation of our current home.

After twelve years behind a computer, much of it remote, I found myself wanting work that was more hands-on, more human, and more connected to real life. I wanted to lean more into my creativity, and I kept finding my flow state in organizing projects: helping my grandmother clear out an overwhelmed home and downsize, bringing order to a friend’s shed, and creating systems for my husband’s countless tools. Through this work, I felt a sense of purpose and satisfaction knowing it gave my friends’ and family’s lives more calm.

Today, my husband and I live in 430 square feet while we renovate our historic property, and I genuinely love it. Living small has taught me to be intentional about what we keep, how we use our space, and how much our surroundings can affect our energy and well-being. I like to call myself an aspiring minimalist, though my plants, books, and art collection would probably suggest otherwise.

When I’m not organizing or writing a local newsletter, you can find me trail running, learning to cycle and sew, or taking my dogs on a walk by the river.

I believe our lives can be full without our homes feeling full. I’d love to help you create a home that feels thoughtful, functional, and beautifully yours.

About Rachel

Hi! I’m Rachel, the Operations Manager at Golden Blooms and a Technical Program Manager with 15+ years of experience delivering complex, cross-functional programs across EdTech, EV charging, AI/ML, and digital platforms. I bridge product, engineering, and business teams to deliver solutions that are on time, on scope, and on budget.

I started my career as a teacher, which gave me a foundation in listening, empathy, and designing user-centered experiences. After almost a decade in product and program management, I completed a full-stack software engineering program, strengthening my ability to partner deeply with technical teams, translate business needs into technical requirements, untangle multi-team dependencies, and lead large-scale integrations.

Colleagues describe me as a trusted problem-solver who brings optimism, clarity, and positive energy to every initiative. I thrive in environments of change and complexity, helping teams achieve their best work by making systems, processes, and priorities easier to navigate. To me, being clear (in roles and responsibilities, requirements, KPIs - you name it) is a form of kindness.

Message me if you want to geek out on marathon training, swap takeaways from Atomic Habits, or talk about why I love building impactful programs as a Technical Program Manager!
